I only watched the pilot and I couldn't get over how crappy their police work was....

Lol, it gets worse, if you can believe it. Yes, worse than shooting a guy who's running away in the back and killing him and facing, like, no consequences.

Sadly I've seen much, much worse. I'm currently watching a USA series where one of the main characters who is a cop fires a gun in the middle of the day, on a street where people could easily be walking by, to destroy private property that in no way, shape, or form has anything to do with their investigation. Things like this happen all the time.

I can't get over how crappy AND boring the police work is. I randomly checked out an episode and one of the cops spent half of it searching the perps house and still missing the basemen full of kidnapped women.

At this point I just kind of shrug off terrible police work in shows.

You really have to if you're going to watch anything related to law/policing. They're just never going to do it right.
