I don't like it because it's clear that people are basing that off of her acting in Twilight, which is ridiculous because who actually tries to act in those movies? NO ONE. (Except for Taylor Lautner maybe, and he just doesn't know any better.) They are a wasteland for any actual acting abilities.

Personally I don't take any criticism against Kristen's acting seriously unless you've seen The Runaways.

I'm no fan of Twilight, but attacking the actors seriously bothers me. It's not like their characters had any personalities they could try to act.

I think Bella's father's actor actually tries to act, and it works really well. He's the only likable character in this whole mess.

The most fun actor is undeniably the one who plays Aro. He's just like, "I'm in this shitfest, and I'm gonna have the time of my life."

Bella's father might be the only likable character in the whole mess because he's the only likable character in the books.

Indeed. Except for that one scene where he highfives Jake for sexually assaulting his daughter. That was so fucking OOC, I consider it non-canon.

I honestly hate how Charlie is treated in the books. He's a decent guy, yet Bella constantly talks about how annoying he is. Seriously? And it's not a "teens will be teens" situation, because in those situations, teens usually also realise that they're in that situation. They feel bad about treating their parents badly, they feel bad about being stubborn, and they may angst about how it's impossibly to just get along when it seems so so easy.
TL;DR, teens get that their assholes and feel bad about it.

Not all teens are that self-aware, because not all people in general are that self-aware. Sometimes they grown into self-awareness after some amount of time and sometimes they don't. This does make me want a fic set, say, 10 years after the end of Twilight in which Bella has emotionally matured a bit and suddenly realizes what a twat she was a teenager and regrets the whole vampire thing, though.

Having just seen her in Snow White and the Huntsman, I can tell you that she feels nearly identical to her character of Bella in Twilight: open-mouthed confusion at the world around her, wide-eyed to invoke pity in her protectors, and no emotion for her lines.

So at least in my eyes, it's not just Twilight; it's K Stewart and her acting.

Agreeeed. I literally just got home from watching that movie and every word you said is true. I've heard she was good in the Runaways, but the roles I've seen her in are not giving me a good impression.

Wrong. I've never seen Twilight, but I have seen couple of other movies she was in. Could have been the same exact character, all her half-open mouth vacant stares and pouty expressions. I mean, she definitely has more than one facial expression, but it's definitely not a wide variety.

She could be an awesome person, I'm not attacking her personally or anything, but her acting and facial range is definitely limited.
