It's different because of the inherent hypocrisy of fandom. I know someone who was molested by a family member when they were a child, but if I speak out against the incest/pedo kink, then its defenders come down on me for daring to judge their fap material as something less-than-wonderful.

Arguing that shota/vore/beastiality/rape kinks are somehow more acceptable because they aren't "real" is the most infantile, ridiculous piece of Internet bullshit I've ever read. Children get molested. Cannibalistic murders have been committed. People do have sex with animals, and rape is quite common. In fact, those things happen ALL THE TIME. So, claiming that any of those kinks are fine, but the Nazi fetish isn't is merely self-justifying bullshit.

WWII ended almost 70 years ago. It's now a historical event. People fetishize about Greco/Roman, Medieval, or Edwardian dress and power dynamics. There's no difference. As long as the clothing/power dynamic is merely used for sexual fantasy, and you're not using it to incite actual violence against actual people, then you should be allowed to fantasize how you want.

After all, that's what the pedo/shota/loli defenders say. "It's okay, because it doesn't involve real kids." So as long as you're not actually wearing those clothes to go out and kill other people, rock on, OP. People won't like it, but hypocrisy runs wide and deep in fandom. It's the "don't judge me, but I can judge you, because I SAID SO!" bullshit.
