I grew up on this show (and a lot of other sci-fi shows airing or in syndication through the 90's), and I always enjoy it when I run into other people who enjoy it. Being the case when I asked someone "what do you want, you moon-faced assassin of joy" and they mused on where they'd heard that before. But it doesn't happen much, I'll admit.

I agree. Once you publish a work, it's out there for people to interpret or re-interpret at will. If they're sharing your published work for free and you're losing potential customers I could see them being concerned but fanfic?

I really wish this was for me. I know it wasn't...because the poster of this secret sounds much more nostalgic than my friend who, well, disappeared away from me over time. But if it is you, in some miraculous way, I just wanted to let you know it's okay. I am okay. And you'll be okay. If this "ghost" of a friendship has to end in order for you to find peace, then that's fine. I want you to be happy and not struggling to make a friendship work. Sometimes things, like friendships/relationships, don't last. And that's fine. I loved you so much back then. And even today, despite...what happened, just-- I will always love you, even if we never speak to each other after this. Despite the tears, despite the yearning for you to just be there for me, I will always love you in a quiet way. Even a small part of me realizes that I was luckily granted the chance to ever meet you and be your friend once.

I didn't interpret them that way either, probably because my mind was in PG-13 mode and that's not a very pg-13 sentiment.
I mean I guess "mewling quim" isn't really pg-13 either but whatever, I don't think the movies are dark enough for that to have been his intent (or the writers' intent).

As someone who knows what its like to to contemplate and obsess over suicide Lane hanging himself was horrifyingly real to me, we actually saw the planning and lead up to it. I wasn't right for a while after watching it.

I mean I've never used the word 'triggered'before, but GOD DAMN.
