I laugh at the irony of people who complain about pictures like this, and then go and eat (factory-farmed) meat. Out of sight out of mind, I guess.

How yucky is the picture? I'm not sure I want to click.

Just a bunch of big dead animals. There's a bit of blood, but it's not like you can see their insides or anything.
No idea what the context is though.

Not very, imo? It's a photograph of a lot of animals lying dead and a little bit of blood, no obvious gore/wounds, pretty low-res. Maybe it would be worse if I knew the backstory but I don't.

What is the picture from?

Guy owned a huge number of exotic animals.

Went crazy/depressed, killed himself after releasing them all, and the police had to shoot them to keep people safe. Was miraculous no one ended up dead.

What happened? What is that from? o.o

I think it's from that animal escape maybe a year ago where this guy who bred a bunch of wild exotic animals committed suicide and let them all loose. The animals were all dangerous and they couldn't catch them all so they ended up killing some of them. It was so stupid.

Are there words on the picture, or did somebody really submit a secret that's just a picture of dead animals? I don't want to look at the picture, but I'm curious about what it's about.

"I remember being SO ANGRY when this happened. I feel really stupid saying this but I think part of the reason why I was so hurt seeing this pictures is due to the last couple books in the Animorphs series."

Wow I've been watching too many National Geo to even get squicked out by this.

I don't know, it's disturbing but I personally don't think this is that bad either. National Geographic and Animal Planet show much more graphic images of dead animals than this. Plus the quality here is pretty bad.

Animals are cool and all, and I'm sad that they had to die (now that I know the whole story of why OP posted a picture of a bunch of dead animals), but police are here to help people, and that includes not allowing people to be eaten by lions and tigers and bears. (Oh My)

Not really sure why this picture was under a 'graphic' cut because you see much, much worse in a Saw movie or something, but maybe I'm just desensitized to animal death because I work in a biochem laboratory and regular discussions involve how many mice we can kill for experiments without going over budget.

Okay, aside from the backstory behind the picture itself, I remember that scene in Animorphs so well where Jake is screaming at Erek to shut down the beams and he just can't in time. Jake has to basically sit there while the Visser kills them one by one, just sitting there and laughing about killing a bunch of kids. I haven't thought about that since I last read the books, which was almost a decade ago.

Though I loved the book series dearly, I have no regrets about selling my collection at a family garage sale when I was about sixteen.

I know the image is disturbing to some people, but I feel a lot of people are missing the point of OP's secret. As an Animorphs fan I totally get where they're coming from. I remember the train station scene in like the third to last book or so where a bunch of the morphing controllers got killed and Ax thought Cassie was one of them. I also remember when all the auxiliary Animorphs got killed.

Woah OP. While I understand the sentiment - my impression is a lot of fans mentally relate most news stories involving animals back to the series - mostly you win the 'Darkest Animorphs Secret EVER' award. A dubious honor, indeed. :(
