you do realize that people fantasize about things that aren't and can't ever be possible, right? and that this is one of the reasons people write fic, right? if you don't like it, that's fine, but i think you're missing the point of fanfiction if you think that people writing it is not okay somehow.

on a side note, though, i couldn't read sherlock/john for the longest time, because sexual sherlock just felt so off to me. i still think i'd go apeshit if he ever became sexual in canon, but i can deal with it in fic, now.

Me too! I think the problem was because in a lot of fics he is written so ooc, sorry but Sherlock being all "Fuck me John, darling" no, just no. Once I found some better quality fic, sexual!Sherlock became easier to read.

That being said I don't think he is asexual, I think sex for him just falls under "transport", desire being one of those bodily functions he doesn't bother with unless absolutely necessary because the only thing that matters is 'the work'. Doesn't mean he can't keep John happy every now and then ;P
