Anon, it's alright to not like something. Personally, I love all the Studio Ghibli movies, and even own most of them. (Thank you Disney!) I find them very beautiful, and the characters compelling. I especially like that Ghibli seems to focus on a variety of female protagonists.

That doesn't mean you have to like them though. Anyone who can't respect different tastes in something as inconsequential as fandom is pretty immature, in my opinion.
