Okay, so apparently from reading the comments, this is a thing that happens in comic-verse? Not sure how to feel about that.
But if you (like me) are only familiar with movie canon...I'm inclined to go with the angle that yes, there would be a chance of him hulking out during sex and it could be very dangerous.
That's probably partly because I read this fic, which is one of my favorites. It features a pairing that I like, though it's not my OTP. There isn't any actual sex in the fic (though they do come close), but the dynamic and fears of what would happen during sex are addressed.
