I wasn't even aware this ship was a thing. Huh.

Really happy to hear the girls get treated well, though. Most of the stuff I see pretty much pretends they don't exist, so maybe I'm just on the wrong side of fandom...which is a shame because I'm such a huge Thor/Jane and Tony/Pepper shipper I just cannot even. Any good recs for those?

Depends on the fandom. I read ST 2009 and Sherlock Holmes fanfiction. Poor Uhura is frequently painted as a terrible person and Mary is often killed off so Watson can have sex with Holmes. (I know in the books Watson's wife dies before Holmes returns from his three year trip, but I feel sick to my stomach and have to hit the back button when I read a story that has Mary die then Holmes immediately returns leading to sex.)
