I watch for the superb animation and the fantastic, unique atmosphere each movie has going on. And the flying. The flying is always the best part.
And to me all the movies seem like real labors of love, above anything else.

They are very quirky, and I can easily see why someone wouldn't find them as charming as I do. You don't have to force yourself to like them.
