So nothing has happened yet, but you're convinced one outcome will happen over the other. Seems a little defeatist and creating something to fret over.

Personally, I'm so over Joss Whedon. He's really awesome at somethings and really sucky at others and pretends to be a huge feminist but really just uses that as an excuse to be weirdly sexist. He's also really good at sneaking in his own weird fetishes but once you start watching all of his work it gets a little creepy.

I also think GRRM has some really fucked up ideas and isn't all that wonderful.

Man, if people didn't know sauce is slang for source, that sentence in response to that comment would be... highly suspect.

I really hate this bit of slang. It doesn't drastically shorten the word like, say, legit for legitimate(ly), and generally just looks stupid.

holy crap

Now I'm so, so glad that I never read his books. Just reading through the first page has convinced me that they would have made me angry with his treatment, descriptions and personal opinions of the female characters in his books.

Thank you, anon, you just saved me the money and time I would have spent on that series.

Yep! GRRM said if he could meet one of his characters, it'd be Dany, because she's "hot". People *hoped* he meant the TV character, but he followed it up with "Dany and Drogo's wedding night is so ~romantic~!" Apparently, he wanted it closer to their ages in the book, but the actors complained. There's also his focus on book!Dany's breasts...

Man's a creep. Nothing more.
