Honestly I'm really excited for the future of cinema/tv, and stuff like Game of Thrones and Avengers is a part of that. As much as people dislike sequels, reboots and adaptations, I feel like the quality of the most popular stuff is improving. The biggest movies of this year (Avengers and Hunger Games) were both excellent and really good creators like Joss Whedon and Christopher Nolan are some of the most popular. Yes, there will be imitators and there will still be a lot of shit. But I'd rather Joss has a lot of imitators than, say, Michael Bay.
