I once knew a girl that pretended to be a gay dude in fandom. I'm sure many people do. I wouldn't say they don't exist at all though. I have a few gay dudes that follow me because I draw fanart of hot guys.


Still.. I'm kinda the same way about this but not just in fandoms. I had a hard time believe that there are women into my fetish since it's typically a man's thing.

Yes I am aware I am not a special snowflake I've been in the particular fetish's community for 10 years. The thing is: It's a fetish for men. It's NORMAL for women. Most don't think to ever look it up as a fetish. I know there are a few other women around I just side-eye any new ones because I'll never lose the "That's probably just a dude trying to get attention." knee-jerk reaction. It's not without precedent.

Huh, is it some kind of clothing kink? I am really, really into lingerie and other scanty or seethrough clothing - I have a large drawer full of all kinds of clothes that I only wear during sex or masturbation - but have never thought to look for a community for that. I've very rarely asked for female character clothing/lingerie kink on kink memes, never got a response, and never been able to write fic about it myself. It only ever seems to come up as drag for male characters, which is nice and can be really hot but it's not my kink.

Out of curiosity, what type of a fic would you enjoy seeing about that sort of thing? Like, just a person wearing it during regular sex? Or a story about a person picking it out, maybe a really detailed description of it, a depiction of how the garment feels when being touched by another person, etc. Hope this isn't offensive - I've been told in the past that my queries were extremely offensive - but I'm just really, really curious.

I'm not sure what the people above are referring to but I personally love all of that and more. I tend to specifically prefer fic where the character explores how the clothing makes them feel about their body and how they look. The more detail the better. Due South got me into the kink and great care always seemed to be taken with Fraser's realistic approach and almost clinical-seeming attention to detail "justifying" luxuriating in the application of the garments and detailing of both to himself and/or his partner *fans self*. The sensuality of it is what I look for most.

If you're curious for an example maybe let me know what fandoms you're in and I could see if I have a favorite in any of those?
