It was more the devoted friendships between shounen manga characters I was jealous of. A world full of people who would answer the question of "I shoot either you or your friend, who's it going to be that dies?" with an incredulous stare and "are you kidding me? ME!" and that's expected behavior...

22. I dunno, I remember some pretty heavy wank from when I used to be into Silmfic and elfslash. Mostly involving some fanfic writer named Orchid Constantine or something (only with more Ys in the name, heh). I think some of it's probably still catalogued over on Fandom_Wank, but a lot of it I heard about through friends in the fandom. So I'm assuming the fandom's become a happier place now?

I wrote it, back in 1999 when the film first came out. It's on a few archives, but I never posted it to FFN because...well...I hate FFN. Posted it under my old alias (Shadow Omega). I got a few good reviews. I was, I DO believe, the first one to post up a Fight Club slashfic on RareSlash. Before, you know, RareSlash erupted into ragnarok.

I'd link it, but...I'm sort of afraid of fic I wrote over seven years ago.
