A while back someone posted a secret about being disappointed Gun Mute didn't have more of a fandom. I didn't know what Gun Mute was and immediately went and got it. I love this game so much I've been bugging everyone I know to play it.

Anyway, I spent all day yesterday at the DMV with no wifi and started sketching on napkins and flyers what I thought characters from Gun Mute looked like. I am considering doing some real fanart for it but have no idea where to post it. I'd also really like to say thanks for introducing me to this game so if the OP is still around do you have any favorite characters or art style or a piece of headcanon you'd like to see illustrated? I also have some weird little fanmixes for it if that is your kind of thing?

DISCLAIMER: I haven't drawn in about five years so don't get your hopes up quality wise! It'll mostly be ink and sharpie.

Not OP from there, but. If you liked Gun Mute you might also like other text games; I know I've run into a few after it!

Ever played Violet? You can type 'heteronormativity off' at the beginning and have it be about a lesbian couple, and as far as I'm concerned that's canon. Violet has official art but the PC doesn't. It's longer than Gun Mute, but it's fun.

Choice of Romance lets you pick whatever combination you prefer, and you get multiple potential love interests. Also, you're a mage.

Don't mind me, just attempting to put text games out there.

Meet an almost symmetrical jumping spider! If you've ever wondered why they look like that and have such huge eyes, well, that's simple- their eyes are referred to as 'ocelli'- you'll notice that joltik has two of them and two more normal looking eyes- and work in pairs, with each pair adapted to a special task. Only some of the eyes can be moved, though! Others are just like tiny light sensors that are fixed in place. Some spiders even have telescopic vision, which helps them to zoom in and lock on to their prey.

Help me find a fic I lost, please?

I'm looking for a fic. It's Kuroshitsuji, Sebastian/Ciel, AU in which Sebastian is a... college basketball player? I think? He spots Ciel, is instantly besotted, and basically rapes him. Ciel proceeds to threaten to go the police, and holds the threat over Sebastian's head to manipulate him. What I remember the most is that the fic portrays their relationship as this really creepy, disturbing, unhealthy thing. I believe it was on lj, and it was incomplete when I read it.

Does that ring any bells? (I also welcome recs for other fics portraying them as creepy/disturbing/unhealthy rather than TWU LOVE.)

Don't worry, this is anonymous for a reason. I frequent these boards (what can I say, twific is my guilty pleasure), and there's this one poster who I think is a psychotic bitch who should be banned. But the thing is, I don't know quite if she is objectively a psychotic bitch because I've hated her for so long. If you frequent Twilighted, does this "ping" in your mind? I don't want to mention her screenname.

He/she is getting incredibly annoying and is utterly condescending and has no right to pretend to be an authority on judging troll secrets or giving secret makers advice. At the very least, can you tell him/her to stop taking measurements? I'm not saying people don't have a right to call troll on a secret, but doing it with a name like trollometer and acting like it's their job is disruptive as hell.

I don't know about banning, but I do find them annoying and rude. I know some secrets are troll secrets but I find it really rude to reply to so many of them assuming they're trolls. It's dismissive and rude and not funny.

I don't think trollometer should be banned, but it's a bit ridiculous that he/she thinks they somehow think they're an authoritative voice on trolling, and that they're so perceptive and clever, when they really just are not

Uh, does anyone else find this thread a little disturbing? I'd be a little worried if case (the mod formally known as technophile) brought the ban hammer down on trollometer. Say what you will about trollometer's comments, but, imo, trollometer hasn't really been outrageously offensive or disruptive. At least he or she has something to say about the secrets, rather than than that "Eveyone is ugly!" anon. If we start trying to ban everyone who pisses someone off, we'd have to ban at least half of F!S.

And, as an commenters said up thread, I don't think trollometer's comments are meant to be taken 1.) like trollometer is an authority figure or, 2.) completely seriously. (Whether you find trollometer's comments humorous is another matter; but humor is subjective and, imo, trollometer's sense of humor is not so offensive as to be ban-able.)
