Ugh, yes, that annoyed me, and I'm a lesbian myself. Sure, I would love to see a fairytale movie with a gay couple. But the reasoning of "She doesn't fall in love with and get married to a man by the end of the movie, and she doesn't like being a 110% prim and proper lady in accordance with social expectations, she MUST be all about the chicks!!!" is just. No.

The weird thing is if the roles were reversed, and it was about a guy who turned down the prospect of an arranged marriage to a princess and went off to have an awesome adventure instead, no one would say a damn thing if he didn't find a woman to get married to at the end of the film.

i would love a lesbian disney princess. and i would love to see them have a beautiful love story and stars in their eyes and a ~dream come true~ and all that mushy romantic stuff that other disney princesses get. it'd be amazing.

ia so much to your last paragraph. because women aren't the most important thing to men, but men are OBVIOUSLY the most important thing to women. /sarcastic eyeroll; a woman's life is OBVIOUSLY not complete unless she finds a man (or doesn't because she likes girls instead) according to dumb movie viewers.
