My guess is "Magic Mike" too.

Listen, in all seriousness, activism and entertainment are two different things. Thins in that area tend to be more complicated than that. I can imagine someone saying, "I'm going to go watch that indie movie written and directed by a woman to support it." But a Disney Pixar film? I don't think so. Besides, how are we supposed to know if this movie has a true feminist message? Just because the protagonist is female and fights with weapons doesn't mean it supports women rights since you can make the same case for Tomb Raider and Resident Evil. I am the sort that stays away from spoilers so I have no idea. I also only ever watch movies for entertainment and no matter how positive a movie's message is, if it's not entertaining I won't buy a ticket for it unless it's indie/small studio that really needs my support(not saying Brave isn't entertaining, but maybe it wasn't for people who didn't buy the tickets.)

Uh, try the fact that it's one of the few movies that doesn't vilify the mother for her actions, doesn't portray her as a dictator but entirely fair, shows a positive mother-daughter relationship that's prominent and not just touched upon, and actually has the character not changing to make her more docile just because she has to be a lady? Also, no romance whatsoever, just her and her mother.

How would you tell those without watching the movie?
