You know, an author wrote about my hometown, once. She said that a train de-railed over our lake, tumbled into the water, and that no one was ever found because it was so deep.

FALSE! No trains have derailed on the tracks going over our lake, or anywhere else in our town, and our lake isn't THAT deep! I should write her some death threats -- that'll learn her to do her research!

...only, no, her book is labelled "FICTION", as I'm assuming your author's is, too. Calm your tits, OP.
