Anyway, that is not entirely why people have a problem with it. Here's a statement from the interview:

I had a good time, though I spent the first half fully prepared to come home and say it was too slow and non-immersive...definitely a slow burn but I really appreciated that by the end, though I'm not sure how much replay value it'll have. I mean, I saw TDK in a cinema 4 times, and I doubt I'll be seeing TDKR more than twice. (Yeah, I love my batmans). I think Marion Cotillard was the high point, performancewise.

Would love to hear what you guys thought, what you ship, etc. Also, I've not yet found any fandom spots that are particularly active - please point me at any that you know of.

I like to think that people who over-the-top hate were probably held hostage by their love of Walter that they forget that he chose to be the shittiest husband of the year(s).
