TBH, in 1D fandom that's really just the Harry/Louis fans, among the shippers. The rest of the gf bashers don't like that there is a girl in the way of their chance with one of the boys. They still all embarrass me, though. Their gfs are all really sweet and gorgeous, and I feel really awful for them. At least their bfs are really supportive of them and will defend them.

Not in any of those fandoms. Most of my ships are canon anyway because they're from webcomics, stuff from Less Than Three press and Dreamspinner, and BL anime, with a game or two in there.

I'm still a slash fan. And I'm gonna repeat what you've been told time and again before: not all slash fans are like that. But of course it's just that much easier making blanket statements.

You're right, what I really should have said was 'The worst thing on the Internet, bar [insert a large list of actual illegal/horrible things on the Internet that are obviously worse, but that most people (who obviously aren't you) don't need to be told are worse when someone is making a sweeping statement.

And if you'd payed attention to anything on this thread, I've pointed out a few times that I don't mean slash ships themselves. And yeah, when a large bunch of people on the Internet are total batshit assholes I feel free to dare pointing that out.
