i love being single. i've been in relationship after relationship and absolutely hated it. my mum keeps pressuring me to get married and give her grandchildren, and she absolutely can't understand why i don't want to do that.

I wouldn't mind not being single, but there isn't anybody that interests me at the moment. It'd be nice to find someone who attracts me but it's just not happening rn.

Because I'm 1) unsure of my sexuality and 2) too shy to ask people I think I'm attracted to out

It's hard to get a boyfriend when you never meet new dudes.

Honestly, with alcohol I am hilarious and sociable but looool guys don't seem to want funny chubby chicks. Weird, huh. (Or then I just suck at making a move. Argh.)

I've only liked one person who was also interested in me and things just didn't work out because there was an awkward love triangle going on and I didn't realize I liked him until just before he moved out of town.
And at the moment I have next to no social life so I don't really have an opportunity to meet anyone.
I'm okay with it, but sometimes I do feel a bit lonely.

sexytiems with boys or girls don't appeal to me right now :(

Because I suck. Or, more honestly, because I don't.

I tell everyone because I like flying solo. I get to focus on me and only I can make me happy. I shouldn't, and don't want to, depend on another person to make me happy. I think it's a little sad that you need to depend on another human being to be happy. What happens if they disappoint? If they leave? If they betray? If I'm sad, I need to find my own solutions to make me feel better, not ask or wait for someone else to do it.

In reality, I was sexually assaulted on the school bus when I was 4, and I shut it out of my memory until a few years ago. I realize that traumatic experience is why I have such conflicting thoughts about guys and why I'm scared to move beyond being friends with straight guys yet wanting their attention and wishing they saw that there was more to me at the same time.

It's...difficult, and I'm too scared to seek therapy for it. I have this irrational fear of everyone judging me, even on things that were/are out of my control.

1. Because I'm extremely self conscious about my appearance/body
2. Social Anxiety especially when it comes to guys
3. Don't get out that much since I work full time

I just want to be. I think I might be asexual, actually. I just have absolutely no interest whatsoever.

Anytime I start thinking I should try to find someone, the ONLY reason is because I feel like that's what's expected of me, and when I think about it for a bit it's like "hey, you don't actually WANT this" and then I quit thinking about it for awhile until another of my friends gets engaged or married and it starts all over again.

I just wish the people I know didn't care so much about my love life (or lack thereof). Just worry about yourself, and leave me alone. Meh.

because I want to be....and also because I'm scared to put myself in that vulnerable a position again. THEREFORE, I want to be single.

Because I don't know how to be in a relationship, I need a lot of "me time" which isn't exactly conducive to one, and because who would want me in the first place?

Because no guys will treat me seriously when I say I only want anal sex.

Because I don't really try to not be single, and I suffer from schizoid personality disorder which means I'm not super good with people.

I was in a fairly long (couple years) term relationship which eventually imploded last year though.

I still live with my parents. My one relationship was when I was 16 and my mom was obsessed with it to the point where she was sending him text messages "from me" and basically called me a cock-tease when I didn't want to spend every second of every day with him. She was more upset I broke up with him than I was. I'm pretty sure she even slept with him.

I want nothing to do with a relationship until I'm out of the house and she can't interfere or try to live vicariously through me.
