It's more likely you just pissed someone off who was petty enough to link-spam your work. Blaming social justice that you got caught basically confirms whatever you wrote really was that bad. You should be angered at yourself for not being smart enough to take it down in all these years, not clinging to poor excuses.

Or that SJW's are that shit. I for one hope OP makes a sequel. because pissing you off is always the better option.

I'm not sure it does. OP could be saying something more like "people used to generally be chill and now they're not." But yeah, it does make me wonder what exactly was in the parody.

I can't speak to any other groups, but for the two I'm a member of, OP:

I wouldn't care if you exaggerate a queer character. I don't tend to agree with the people who think that certain representations are untrue to real gayness. But if you made a gay character stupid and not others, that might bug me, yeah.

I wouldn't care if you used ableist language either. I don't care if you call something "lame" or call someone "crazy" But if you made fun of someone for using assistive technology, or mocked a speech impediment, or made the character with mental illness the butt of all the jokes, or something like that, it might bother me.

I wouldn't care if you used gendered slurs, like "bitch" or "slut" or "cunt." I would care if you portrayed a female character as stupid or worthy of mockery if you didn't write men the same.

I can't speak to other axes of oppression really, but I think you'll see a trend in my responses: some things, I do find to be a bit overboard. But others, yeah, I'm not so gung-ho about.

So the question that arises in my mind is, is someone raggin' endlessly on you for calling someone "lame," or is it something bigger?

Either way... if it's an endless stream of complaint from people who don't listen to a reasoned "I can see why that bothers you, but I choose not to take the fic down," then they're probably overstepping no matter what.

And it sucks if they've suddenly appeared after years and won't shut up, too. That's not helpful, even if your fic is completely horrifyingly gross.

I think all those things depend on what kind of parody it is. If it's a parody of the way fandom treats the characters and you have fandom normally writing a female character of as the 'stupid chick who can't do anything by herself' and the author would have taken that and blown it out of proportion to show how stupid it is.

By that I only want to say it really all depends on what OP wanted to portray, on the fandom at the time etc.

But yeah in general I agree with you, sometimes there are just things you can't ignore.
