I'm sure there ARE some people who disliked the movie for those reasons, but to assume that that's why everyone hates it is ridiculous. You ever dislike something that other people love? Sometimes you probably have good reasons for it, sometimes you probably have silly reasons for it, sometimes you might have no reason for it at all. Try giving other people the benefit of the doubt on it. And keep in mind that there are likely more people who enjoyed it than you realize; they just aren't the people who are talking about it online.

To be honest, I usually have better reasons for hating something than I do for loving something else. And very seldom does it boil down to Character I Like marrying Other Character.
