If you can use a tampon, then they aren't too horrible. I personally can't use them (or tampons) because the feeling of something inside of me long term irritates me, but if you can stand the feel of it, then it might be for you. My sister swears by them. The only bad thing is if you've got to drain it in a public toilet that doesn't have a sink nearby.
