MY BARBIES. Oh god. I know there is no reason whatsoever for me to keep them, but I just can't. I finally got past my Beanie Babies a year ago (I'm still sad I got rid of them), but I haven't worked my way up to the Barbie dolls yet. Hnngh.

Also, I have a ragdoll and a baby blanket that I still sleep with (I'm 25; woohoo!) They're pretty gross and embarrassing, but it's a comfort thing.

Hey, I still sleep with a stuffed cat. I just like to have my arms around something when I sleep and pillows are too big.

I keep my doll up against the side of my head over whichever ear's not buried in the pillow. She helps block out noise. I live in a creaky old house. *__*;

I lost my Barbies. :( They got cleared out of the garage, left outside by accident for a few weeks, and destroyed in the rain. *still mourning them a little*

I still have my comfort blanket too! I don't sleep with it any more, it just live sin a drawer now, but I've never parting with that thing. xD

I've told my family - I want whatever remains of the doll and blanket to be buried with me when I die. XD; TOGETHER FOREVER... /nuts

No-one else in my family seems to care about the Barbies. Thankfully I had the foresight to rescue my favourite one, so she was saved!

I still sleep with a stuffed toy too, I'm never gonna throw that one away either. I'm probably generally very unhealthily attached to my stuffed animals. Though we gave a lot away a few years back =/

Though yeah I fought for that stuffed animal I still sleep with, I couldn't sleep without it until I was 14 or so xD

Those sorts of things have a lot of very specific memories attached to them. Getting rid of the toy/stuffed animal/etc. feels like throwing your memories away; at least that's now I feel. So it's hard. :(

I had to fight for my doll, too. My preschool teachers used to confiscate her during nap time cuz I would lie there playing with her instead of sleeping, and she has a rattle in her head so it was bothering the other kids. XD; I finally stopped bringing her WITH me everywhere when I started kindergarten, but I still sleep with her and I'm 25, so. I'm CAPABLE of sleeping without her, I just don't LIKE to.
