(Anonymous) 2012-08-05 04:43 am (UTC)(link)Personally, this suits me. I've never been interested in forming relationships in fandom. I'm just there to read, post fanart, read meta/discussions, maybe write something myself...but relationships? Not interested at all.
It's nice to finally have a medium (tumblr) where people don't care if I reply to their comments on my art/reviews of my fics. Communication isn't the main thing for tumblr, sharing things is.
It's kind of anonymous and I just appreciate not having the pressure to be BFF with people in fandom.
