TLU is one of my favourite books of all time, but although I've hunted down a lot of Beagle's work, I've never heard of there being a sequel. That's weird. o.0

Finny that this should come up, too, My wife just got back from Otakon and, because I have the most awesome spouse in the history of ever, she brought me a copy of TLU that she had signed by Beagle himself, who apparently was at the con.

I am still not over how mindblowingly incredible that is. I would have LOVED to meet him, but since I had no cash and had to work that weekend, just having a copy of the book signed and made out to my name is still pretty fucking fantastic.

It came out a few years ago. It was part of a short story anthology. It's called 'Two Hearts' and is about a little girl whos' village is being attacked by a griphon. So she sets out alone to ask a certain someone for help, and runs into a few other familiar characters along the way :) Here's the link to it online, if you want to read it
