1. When I was a child I wanted Pokemon to be real -so badly-, and still kind of do, so I feel your pain. D: I don't care if they would make the world fall into an early apocalypse, I want a cute Pikachu to pet & feed & loooove! ;_;

6. Well, that's kind of stupid. :/ Considering that most writers do put their fic on FF, since it's the widest known fanfiction archiving site. Not to mention just about every public fic archiving site has it's piles of good & bad authors. You shouldn't judge an author just because of where they archive their fic (unless the layout is made of buttpr0n or something, and even then it probably means they write great buttpr0n fics XD).

10. Agreed \o/ However, just as often the valid reasons are also misunderstandings! A lot can achieved by setting aside bias or initial disruptions and just talking to people =\ And then there's a lot of blanket hatred on RPs that I don't really get. Short of communities that tramp around going "Whoo! We're elitist and proud of it!" i've never actually seen a community where everyone is elitist. It goes both ways, you know? What about the stranger who shows up in the midst of a bunch of friends and starts telling them their elitist? you might just be 'pointing it out' but it's still an insult, and unless done carefully you're going to offend people.

I can certainly see how an RP, any RP, can be percieved as elitist, clique-y, and accused of dogpiling! But people in general do that. clique's are often just groups of friends that are comfortable with each other. in jokes aren't made to make you feel left out so much as to make them feel closer to each other. And dogpiling can be anything from making people angry, to hurt, and they want to either give the impression they don't care, or argue back, or point out the hypocrasy.

I don't know what RP specifically you're talking about! I don't suppose it matters. I hope you work things out. And I hope it is just a misunderstanding.

20. I loved this post =\ Not because I have any issue with milking compilations as long as it gets me moar Zack, but that post secret made me sad too =\ Learning that your childhood hero isn't a perfect god (facts true or not!) shouldn't disillusion one from still loving what inspired you.

the point of the secret wasn't specifically that an RP they came across was elitist but I think (and I may be wrong) in response to all the RPers from the maligned game coming here and jumping square on a secretmaker because OMGHOWDARETHEYDISSOURBEEEYOTIFULRP???!?!!11!?!

then they start with the attacks of bitter apples and sour grapes when it may just be that someone really doesn't like the RP game and their reasons for doing so are not springing out of hate for people or for cliques or injokes or THEYJUSJEELOUS or any other of a number of reasons the RPers will use to try to smear the validity of the secret.

personally, I like when they come here and splooge all over the secret makers for it. it's usually a pretty good indication of an RP I have no intention of checking into if their people can't behave any better than that!

10. I can see both sides of that arguement. On the one hand, there are people who dislike RPs for valid reasons, and that's their perogative. I would never presume to say that they aren't allowed their opinions. That would be unfair and ridiculous. There are some people who do just make blanket judgements on the people in an RP from a select few, though, and I think that's very unfair.

On the whole, though, I do tend to agree with your secret.

12. Yeah. D: The first four books were amazing back when I was a kid, but I started hating the series after book five (that book was just bad...) and I never read book six and I don't ever plan on reading book seven.

JKR is just milking the series for all its worth. I don't respect her choices to kill off the most well-rounded characters and then leave the static ones alive.

20. Amen to that. D: Nomura gets so much shit for the Final Fantasy series. Jesus. He only started by creating the freaking characters for VII. It's an amazing game and I thought Advent Children was marvelous (because wow, those fight scenes were epic), and yeah, I'm disappointed with all of the sequels... D: But I haven't blamed Nomura for that.

I wish people would stop ragging on the FF series. XP They're all good games.

I love Mirage of Blaze... but I hate the ending so much. It doesn't end, it stops! (I haven't see the OVA, though. That might help. Still, I've only heard bad things.)

6. For a while, I thought that way and was secretly ashamed to put my fics on FF.N. Then I realized that the quality of fics on LiveJournal really weren't that much better, either. There's just less of them.

It's hilarious when you realize that in PM: TTYD, 80% OF THE SIGNIFICANT FEMALES IN THE GAME ARE IN LOVE WITH MARIO. Peach loves Mario, Vivian was jealous that Peach and Mario were a good couple, nobody smooches Mario more than Mz. Mowz, and who wants to bet that Goombella's "secret" was that she loved Mario too? XD It seems like Flurrie was the only girl who wasn't in love with Mario.

Gals just love the 'stache.

Oh, and the secret made me "aww" and "lawl" too. :3 Paper Mario = WIN.

4. I ship it, but I like Iruka to be the one who's got Kakashi totally whipped. *guilty grin* Iruka makes a hot seme. But then, that's a relationship that would be almost more IC to have them switch. 6. I feel the need to tell you to get over yourself. Sure, there's a fuckton of crap on there, but it's also the biggest archive (one of?) out there, so cut it some slack. I've found some of the best stuff in my fandoms on there.

20. Oh god, I love you. Most of the time it feels as though you're being scrutinized just for liking artists who're popular. So WHAT, you know? If they inspire, and help a person do something they love, that's really something worth it and beautiful.

That said, while my enthusiasm for FF7 is kinda blah, I still love the series. ♥ Hell, as bad as Dirge of Cerberus was, I'm still willing to love it for the fact that it had a segment of what was going on at the end of the original game all 3D-fied in the beginning! ♥

GOD I KNOW. It is a TOTAL TEASE, at least the anime/OAV are. I've been watching them on Encore recently, and all I got for it was one measly kiss in the anime and one unresolved molestation in the OAV! I mean, after Naoe nearly rapes Kagetora, a mere phone call interrupts them and magically everything is back to normal!!! They're getting in the same car! They're driving away together!

I hear they sex each other up in the novels/manga tho. But like you, I haven't the foggiest where to go to find it. :'(
