I think he's a subpar writer in addition to be a raging asshole and I can't wait until he leaves. Idk how I feel about Gatiss taking over though. He seems like a nice enough man, but he is not a very good writer. Victory of the Daleks was AWFUL and I thought Closing Time was boring as fuck. The Idiot's Lanter was saved by Billie and David's chemistry.

The Unquiet Dead is pretty ok though.

Gatiss didn't write Closing Time, he only wrote Night Terrors for series 6.

Night Terrors was apparently so boring that I can't remember the name.

Huh, ironically Night Terrors, Closing Time, and The Doctor's Wife were the only episodes from series 6 that I actually really enjoyed.

I liked The Doctor's Wife, The Girl Who Waited and The God Complex.

Closing Time was cute, but pretty unmemorable. Night Terrors was just really really boring to me.

Thank GOD someone else thought Night Terrors was dull. Everyone I talked to LOVED it and thought it was one of the best of series 6.

It is just SO boring. Like I've seen it three times at this point and I can barely tell you what the plot is. The first time I tried to watch it, it took me like 3 hours because I kept getting bored and wandering off.

I actually had to google it because I did not remember this episode at all. Upon reading the description, I realized I had seen it but damn if I could have told you what it was about without google.

lol, I must applaud you then, as I could only sit through that episode once. I tried it on a re-watch and ended up falling asleep, I was that bored :)

Yep.

There were elements of the concept that were interesting but something about the overall plot and the execution just did not work. It felt twice as long as a normal episode and didn't even manage to be scary, which would've been it's only saving grace.
