Nipple piercings !

Other body piercings you have/like/regret?


I've always wanted to get my nipples pierced (I'm a woman, fyi) but the idea of having a stranger manhandle me to do it kind of freaks me out. Not the piercing itself, just the stranger part.

I had 3 facial piercings some 7, 8 years ago, but I took them out to look presentable when I was jobhunting. I'd like to get a stud in my nose, but I feel I'm too old to be doing that now. Sigh.

Is F!S reading my mind or something, because I've been thinking about getting nipple piercings as of late. I should probably wait to get them until I'm a bit more financially dependent from my parents, even if I'm over 18.

I'm curious to what other people will say about the man-handeling, that's one thing that freaks me out too!

As for other piercings, I currently only have 1 in each lobe and 1 helix. Most likely going to get either another helix or a tragus sometime this year though!! :DD (Does anyone know if one's tragus can be too small for a piercing there though?? I feel like mine is. :()

Probably can be too small. Mine is tiny! I imagine the piercer would have a hard time getting a grip on the thing. And then my jewellery would just look like it was perpetually falling off.

But you can always go and consult the piercer. They'll know for sure.

Yeah it's definitely something I'm going to ask my piercer about. I don't want to spend all that money on a piercing then have it not work out!

My last girlfriend had a nipple piercing, which was sexy as hell and really fun to play with. So I recommend them.

I've been wanting to get a nipple piercing for years. I don't care about the manhandling though - I just worry about sore breasts until it heals. Which is a bit stupid, cause I have 7 piercings (and had 2 more that didn't set in) and I've been through a tongue piercing healing that was hell... But breasts are more sensitive and I have a friend who had a really hard time with it - it even got infected. I know it's cause she took shitty care of it, but it's still stalling me :(

I have zero piercings. My mother wouldn't let me get my ears pierced while I was still financially dependent on them, and then after college I never got them done because I was too embarrassed to show up at a piercer and explain why I had no holes in my ears (and didn't want to get them done at a jeweler with what looked entirely too much like a staple gun). I've been vaguely debating getting my clit hood pierced and then asking them to do my earlobes while I was there, on the grounds that after someone's already seen the little lady in the boat there's not much else that could embarrass me.

Just so you know, the piercer probably would be happy to know you hadn't had your ears pierced. Getting your ears pierced with a gun (more accessible, cheaper, more common) is actually traumatising for your ear. So, if you went to an actual piercer, they'd probably be happy you were getting it done properly!

Plus, I think the community that is into piercings have their own hierarchy. So far as I can tell, it's about doing things safely. Like BDSM and…all those other 'extreme'/'unconventional' sub-cultures.
