And nope, Loki is not a "concept". He is a person — not necessarily a human person, but a person nonetheless — who has a pretty human-esque (albeit pretty insane) logical sequence of events that cause his behavior. He was jealous of Thor. He resented Thor. He wanted to be Thor's equal. He wanted to make Odin proud. He had an identity crisis after realizing he was actually a Jotun. He tried to commit genocide to prove his worth. He tried to kill himself (sorta). He hooked up with Thanos and the Chitauri to conquer Midgard because he wanted to rule a realm and rub it in Thor's face.
No existential "I AM THE EMBODIMENT OF CHAOS AND I HAVE TO BE CHAOTIC FOR NO REASON" stuff. No fourth-wall-breaking self-awareness. He's no frickin' Deadpool. He has very human-esque motivations for what he does. That's why so many people can sympathize with him. What. The hell. Loki, a "concept"? I'm sorry, but this is even more complete and utter basis-less headcanon pulled straight from nowhere than that idiotic Tony Stark secret from a couple days ago.
