Seven of Nine, from Voyager. Sexist costume design aside, she's an interesting and sympathetic character to me.

Bela from Supernatural. As others here have said, she was fierce as hell and didn't deserve to die like that.

Delphine and Esbern from Skyrim. Granted, a lot of the hate directed at them is justified, seeing as how they told you to kill your dragon BFF, but I just can't hate them after all they've been through.

Seven of Nine was a great character and often the most interesting part of Voyager for me. I didn't like how male gaze-y things could get sometimes though and she's not I character I ever want to discuss with fanboys.

Too right, that.

Seven of Nine as an individual character was pretty awesome. I loved her storylines and particularly her relationship with Janeway and the Doctor. I did not love that after she was introduced the show pretty much revolved around her and the Borg, though. Esp when the previous seasons had been very much an ensemble cast. :-\

(And I still have no idea where some of the plots with her came from. But that's more a beef with the writers than the character herself, who was really interesting and sympathetic.)

I really loved her interactions Tuvok and felt like there should have been more. Also, anything with her and Naomi Wilder. Seven of Nine was such an interesting character.

I remember reading the MiSTing of a press release they put out for the introduction of Seven of Nine, and being disgusted just how... juvenile it was. But, yes, I thought Ryan went above and beyond, making the character more than just boobs in a cat suit, and she was often the best part of an episode.
