Notes:
Important: I'm really sorry about this, but I accidentally clicked the wrong thing and deleted the submission post from last week instead of saving it. Managed to save the first page (25) of secrets, but the rest (a bit over 100) are gone.
If you submitted something last week (Aug 26-Sept 1), please resubmit it here and it will still go up this week.
The submissions post for next week is linked below as usual.
Secrets Left to Post: 00 pages, 000 secrets from Secret Submission Post #296.

(Anonymous) 2012-09-01 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)16 years old is actually not an easy age to capture (at least in a stylized animation form), mainly because if you draw a girl too mature looking she will end up looking like a full grown adult, and if you go too far the other way then they will indeed all look like about 12 (or even younger.)
I usually go for the younger looking 16 year old and make them look nothing like I did when I was 16, but I also don't draw NSFW stuff for any character that isn't an adult.

(Anonymous) 2012-09-01 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)idc what age of consent is, is 16 here, still wrong
high school kids =/= adults imo
but yeah i think 16 can go either way
there isnt a defined look rly
in high school, some girls looked like college students, others like middle school students, there is natural variety, meither is bad
but maybe not put any of them in porn lol
So 16 yrs olds can't draw 16 yr olds?

(Anonymous) 2012-09-02 08:07 am (UTC)(link)Teenagers may look at and draw that sort of thing but it's illegal for them to put it anywhere that an adult might be able to see it, it's really for their protection.

OT, but that reminds me that until Facebook became the NO. 1 social portal in my country (random Eastern European county) about 6-7 years ago there were several smaller but relatively popular social networking sites in my mother tongue, and on these sites there were no real restrictions on porn. As far as I know, there are no laws in my country against teens making naked pictures of themselves and putting them online, so there very many 14-17 year old girls who made naked pictures of themselves and put them on their profiles so anybody could see them. There are at least two websites in my country that focus on mocking social networking profiles, and they constantly made posts about these girls, posting their pictures and links to their profiles and encouraging their readers to go and mock and harass these "little sluts".
So as much as I hate Facebook, it was a godsend for my country's social networking sphere. And while for you, drawing naked teens may seem as a problem, we had a real problem here with teens making naked pictures of themselves and getting harassed for it, and since they were well above the age of consent and authorities never cared about Internet harassment cases and Internet laws are still pretty nonexistent here, I think I am in my right to laugh at this whole thread.
