Notes:
Important: I'm really sorry about this, but I accidentally clicked the wrong thing and deleted the submission post from last week instead of saving it. Managed to save the first page (25) of secrets, but the rest (a bit over 100) are gone.
If you submitted something last week (Aug 26-Sept 1), please resubmit it here and it will still go up this week.
The submissions post for next week is linked below as usual.
Secrets Left to Post: 00 pages, 000 secrets from Secret Submission Post #296.
Secrets Not Posted: [ 0 - broken links ], [ 0 - not!secrets ], [ 0 - not!fandom ], [ 0 - too big ], [ 0 - repeat ].
Current Secret Submissions Post: here.
Suggestions, comments, and concerns should go here.

Re: fandoms that took you by surprise
I'll just go now.
Edit: actually, Homestuck is probably a better example! I read it because I wanted to know what the hell people on my dashboard were freaking out about and didn't expect to actually grow to like it and consider it a primary fandom of mine. Originally I was pretty annoyed and grumpy about reading it because I was so damn confused about everything. Then I grew to care about the characters but not the plot (because I didn't understand it) and then I began to just... love everything. And now here I am. A fully fledged fan! I never really expected that to happen, but I think that's sort of the thing with Homestuck. If you make it through the whole thing, you will probably grow to love it even if at first you were just like "wtf is this."
whoops tl;dr
