I have. . .mixed feelings about this show. First, I really don't have a lot of ability to connect to this show because it has a fucking laugh track. I don't care whether or not it's canned, unless you're doing stand up comedy or it's an actual taped PLAY I don't want the fucking fourth wall broken every ten seconds with laughter at things that aren't even funny. It ruins a lot of the emotional stuff in this show too. Sometimes the characters look sad etc. and the audience laughs and I'm like "what you can't just let him have a moment to feel?"

ANYWAY.

Aside from that, I like the characters. . .sometimes, but I kind of fucking hate Leonard, and I hate that the show makes it seem like a lot of the dickery he shows is ok because he's the protagonist. I don't care how much of a dick your friend (re: Sheldon) is, if someone you supposedly care about is legitimately ill you don't just leave them to completely fend for themselves. The other characters are legitimately treated like assholes usually when they are assholes, but for some reason the show thinks that sunshine shines out of Leonard's ass and it pisses me off.

Love Sheldon & all the girls, but yeah I have issues with the show.

Personally, the one thing that makes canned laugh tracks creepy to me is that all/almost all the people on them are now dead. /csb
