Does posting on F!S as an alt invalidate the other account's existence or something? Why can't someone have two groups of friends? Is this a friend count contest or something? Gotta collect 'em all on your main account or else it doesn't count?
I'm still not understanding OP's reluctance to alt.
Another point in favor of posting from OP's main journal: Who wants to make friends and then have to hide that you write RPF? It seems like RPF is big hobby for OP. So, just come out with it then and make friends that have no problem with it.

I guess rpf journal vs non-rpf journal could be different enough, but it might not be. Thus, the alt would feel like a bit of a waste to keep up with.
