I think it boils down to this:

1. The "mewling quim" line equates to Loki wanting to rape Black Widow to many people

2. Bucky/Natasha is canon in the comics

3. Clint/Natasha can be seen as hinted at in the movie

4. Many people see her as a boring character

5. She's too badass for him and would get fed up with his whining .2 seconds in

6. People want woobie!Loki or redemption!Loki and neither of those make sense with Black Widow as the love interest

7. Did I mention she's not going to tolerate his shit? Because she's not.

I agree 100% with all your other points, but I don't understand this one. Like the OP said, I can see why people would think she would be empathetic because she was also a bad guy in the past and knows what it feels like to want to turn from bad to good and to want to wipe out the red in your ledger.

I personally don't think she would empathize with Loki (*cough cough* BRAINWASHED HER BEST FRIEND *cough* KILLED HER BOSS *cough* CONQUERING A PLANET >>>>> ASSASSINATING A BUNCH OF PEOPLE *cough*), but I can see how some fans would think she might.
