Adding my voice to the chorus of "write it"s. I learned a long time ago not to argue with the Muse, and I've found that if I just write the damned thing it gets it out of my system. You can decide once you've got the first draft down if it's utter crap or salvageable, but remember (and this is something I have to remind myself of every day) that "crap" can be edited into "not crap." You can't edit a blank page.

And nothing says you have to post it anywhere once you're done.
