Truthfully depends on the fandom for me. Some Sherlock fandom pormanteaus (Johnlock, Mystrade, and Mormor) set my teeth on edge. I think they're too cutesy for the people they're representing! Moriarty and Moran are serial killers and Mormor means GRANDMOTHER in some languages ffs. I also associate it with some of the loudest and most obnoxious fans on both tumblr and the kinkmeme, so just. . .no. I don't mind some of the rarepair ones though, like Molliarty, and I quite like the sound of Jimlock for some reason, but then Jimlock is my favorite UST pairing.

Other fandoms are fair game, though. I love what the Avengers fans have done with their couple nicknames, I think they're fucking adorable. And I just got into Community and I love everything about Trobed, even their namesmush <3

Funny thing is, Trobed didn't seem to be used as a smoosh name in fandom for them until it was used in canon. It is a really cute sounding pormanteau, and I like that it uses an equal amount of both of their names. I love everything about Trobed too ♥♥
