idk there's this weird trend of people who say things coldly and scientifically to sound smart when not only are their ideas not compassionate, but just.... really fucking stupid? Like they're trying to be Sheldon Cooper or Dwight from that "FALSE" meme, idk how to explain it
(I think you were referring to actual eugenics-supporting nutcases, but there's just sort of this breed of casual asshole that I thought I should address too).

Meh. I judge kids on an individual basis, same with adults. Some of them I like, but if someone said "Hey do you wanna go hang out with a bunch of children?!" I'd probably say no because, in general, I don't like being around children. It don't outright hate them and I would never hurt a kid (or anyone, unless that person was hurting a kid, because those are the worst people imo) and like any decent person I help out if I see a child in trouble. I'm pretty sure most people who say they don't like kids feel the same way.

You don't think it's unfair to pass unappealing traits on to children? So it's totally cool for people with serious hereditary diseases to pass them on because they love and care for their children? When it comes down to it, the kid isn't going to be happy that their parents didn't think before they reproduced. Maybe you're a paragon of perfection, but there are multiple reasons I wish my parents hadn't had me.
