I liked that part too. Despite being a superhero she seemed a lot more like a realistic portrayal than a lot of other moms. I feel she was a very relatable character. In essence, she was human. I liked her and hope to see more moms/women like her.

I only ever watch Adventure Time because of everybody.

But yeah, Princess Bubblegum is pretty rockin'.

I saw an article the other day talking about the girls=princesses in cartoons and lack of good role models for young girls and they used Princess Bubblegum as an example of that. I was so annoyed because obviously they never took the time to watch the show. Thankfully there were a lot of comments in support of PB and her awesomeness as a role model.

He played Graham in Baccano, right? I thought his part was one of the most enjoyable of the series (though the voice cast in general for Baccano was very impressive)

Disasters happen all the time. You'll see heroes and villian emerge, people break and people become better then they ever thought. Some are forever scarred, some brush it off and barely think about it.

It's happened before, it'll happen again. Don't worry too much.

But I gotta say: religion don't mean shit in this. If a disaster happens on some atheist boat cruise or something, you'll see all the same types emerge.

Obviously, I don't know the exact specifics of your relationship (like, was this one where you'd always talk in private before reviewing?) but you might want to just assume the best. Perhaps your fandom friend (ex fandom friend?) honestly just wanted to get back into the fandom.

As a fic writer myself, I am super guilty of reviewing other people's works before writing fic of my own. I don't do it expecting reviews and, in fact, it's often impossible for those authors to find my work as I post to a locked community but mainly because AAAHHHH SO AMAZING/INSPIRING/AWESOME, PLEASE LET ME SQUEAL OVER YOUR WORKS?

So, yeah, I think you should take it as a compliment! Or at least that your friend wants to either {1} tell you she likes your writing (still) or {2} renew your bonds! :)
