NO!

I had big ears as a little girl and my mom was always tucking my hair behind them. At the time I hated it and was self conscious but I grew to be proud of them. I am forever grateful that she got that one thing right because even though I grew into them it made me appreciate my quirker qualities instead of being ashamed that if I have a body part that isn't considered "normal".

I love my childhood pictures and think my ears were adorable. I love seeing big ears now, I think they're cute and kinda hot. I hate when women are embarrassed or talk about hating their ears and "having" to wear their hair down to hide them.

If Kristen Stewart likes her ears enough to rock them good for her! I can only hope at least one little girl out there feels less self-conscious because of it.

Hell yeah. This is a righteous comment and I strongly endorse it.

sorry you had a shitty mom that made you do something you were obviously uncomfortable with.

I was uncomfortable with it because people picked on me and she taught me to ignore them and love and my appreciate my body for what it was and not what other people thought of it. If it wasn't my ears it would have been something else. There's nothing you can do to avoid someone being cruel to you sometime in your life so it's a good thing she equipped me to deal with it as soon as possible and come out stronger and happier for it.

Sorry you, and most kids, didn't have that.

assuming that making your child do something [safe] that they're uncomfortable with makes you a shitty mom is one of the many problems society has today.

Also big ears are fucking adorable and idk I just love features like that and I'm kind of sad that I don't have any.
