I have a weird thing for the English version of The Boys. Just. "This is deep in my heart, my heeaaaaaart" makes me crack up. Every time.

Me, if I'm listening to KPop, I can't listen to KPop artists in Japanese. I can deal with KARA and After School, but SNSD was just not very good at Japanese for a long time and it was very noticeable to me.

Idk, I kind of agree with you. I mean, I'm more into Jpop and they don't really do English-language covers even when performing in English-speaking countries. But depending on the song, most of them are written to be performed in that language, so here's bound to be issues and things lost in translation.

The lyrics issue doesn't bother me, since I speak a fair amount of Japanese and understand quite a bit of it, lol.

Same here. K-Pop in Japanese bothers me way more. It sounds weird to me, like they aren't even trying to sing in correct Japanese. I don't even speak Japanese, so I don't know why it bothers me so much.

"The Boys" is awesome though, and I much prefer the English version. Those weird ass lyrics are hilarious, especially, "Call an emergency, I'm watching the phone ring."

Really? I prefer the Korean version, myself. :) Have you heard the Japanese version? The breakdown is amazing!
