to be fair, though, a lot of the beauty of the lyrics is probably lost in translation. I'm not saying it is necessarily in this situation, but nuance and poetry are important to writing lyrics and most translations (especially quick fan-translations) don't take the time and effort necessary to make sure the magic or the original ends up in the English version.

(Gackt lyrics always pop into my head for some reason when thinking about this-- "daremo inai kono heya de" sounds a lot more romantic than "in this empty room" even though the translation is perfectly fine)
