(Anonymous) 2012-09-30 02:04 am (UTC)(link)I made friends with my friends' S.O., and I was the favorite 'aunt' - despite being someone who's notorious for not liking kids. The only thing that broke up our friendship was when the moved out of state. Even then, when they came back 'home' to visit, they always made time to see me, even if it was a couple of hours, and I didn't care if the kids came along, because they were well-behaved, and generally sweet kids - and I was still the favorite 'aunt'.
