Eh, some people found her boistrousness obnoxious, not so much her looks but her voice and attitude.
I found her refreshing and a much needed change from "twenty-something Earth girl falls in love with the Doctor." And how she'd call Ten out on stuff and didn't put up with his shit and slapped him upside the head and gave him hugs and was wonderfully platonic with him.

Yea, imo there have been enough companions in love with the Doctor, and she was a wonderful change of pace.

Yes! She was so damn feisty and strong and I just adore her. I wasn't sure about her at first either, but she quickly won me over. Donna is my favorite and I miss her constantly.

As for Tate...I think she's gorgeous. I hope I look half that good at her age. (Hell, imo I don't look half that good now, so hell yea I do.)

No only that she "got" the Doctor in way I didn't see Rose or Martha do. When he called her his "best friend," I believed it. He could be his alien self around her.

And I would kill just kill to see Donna in one episode with 11, just to see how that would play out.

Same, I'm still holding out hope that it'll happen one day (doubtful, I know). Partly because I think her an 11 would have a fun dynamic, but also because then it could mean fixing up her ending (which I'm still bitter about)
