I try and label mine if it's even remotely obscure. Actually I label them even if I think it's mainstream. I really dislike having people go 'what fandom is this' in the comments and when I see that and it hasn't been IDed yet and I know it I always answer.

I have no idea why people don't do it. Seems like simple courtesy to me.
