It is just such a good show, and so deep and complex; well written/directed/acted. It works well on CBS but I also feel it loses a bit from the CBS brand idea. Jonah Nolan at NYCC said that CBS was the best home for it, and I'm glad it reaches so many people. I just feel like making fandom out of that is hard sometimes (I'm sure if someone took the viewership numbers of, say, NCIS and compared the fandom numbers, the percentage/ratio/statistical thingy would be tiny compared to those for Sherlock or Downton Abbey).
I love the close-knit aspects of the fandom for how easy it is to talk to people (like the LJ fic community which goes far beyond fic, as well as Tumblr). I just wish it had more! Then again I would probably get nothing done <3.
