So now we make fun of something that kids do? You don't know if that's a child on the other end or not. Let people do what they want to do and stop telling people to not enjoy themselves just because you don't like it.

I don't think OP's lecturing, so much as they are downvoting. It seems fair - if you put your creation up on a voting site, you have to expect that the people who don't like it will downvote just the same as how the people who do like it will vote favorably.

It's a 1 vs 1 voting system. http://www.dolldivine.com/voting_page.php You can decide if you want people to vote on your stuff. They should expect to get up and down votes. Nobody's telling them not to enjoy making dolls, just that some of them do something that someone doesn't care for. 95% of the time, I don't like the crazy things people build with the hair extensions in the Erte game, but I don't comment of them going on about how much I hate their work, I just don't often vote for those dolls. There's no "this sucks" crown.

You don't sound like much of a fun or creative person. At least they're trying to do something creative with it. I just see it as another form of storytelling, no point in ruining their fun.

I'm not ruining anyone's fun; I'll admit there's a reason it's a secret, but I never comment on anyone's dolls saying I don't like their textbox stories. (I don't have premium, but even if I did, I wouldn't leave rude comments.) They entered their dolls in the voting system, and I vote according to my personal preference. Everyone does.

I'm having a hard time imagining why creating backstories for your doll is more embarrassing than designing dolls in the first place.

Yeah, I mean, aren't you supposed to make stories for dolls? That is why kids play with them, right?

I'd assume that most of the people playing with them are younger, so yeah, kind of a dick move, OP. They're obviously having fun with their stories so why not just leave it alone? In fact, why are you bothering in the first place? I'd assume you're an adult, don't you have better things to do with your time than downvote dolls from dressup games for kids on the internet?
