WOW PEOPLE AREN'T SYMMETRICAL

WHO KNEW

(Anonymous) 2012-10-24 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I love that this is the first comment.
Sorry guys, not every face looks mirrored and photoshopped. That's only in the glossy magazines.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-24 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Symmetry is the norm, though. When people have noticeably assymetrical faces, it bothers some people.

Same here. I love making icons and graphics of Teen Wolf, but I can only use caps of Scott where he's shown from the side.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-24 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
My jawline is sorta like that hm

i have no idea who this is or what it's from, but maybe he had his jaw broke at some point?

[personal profile] tyger66 2012-10-24 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Isn't this the second secret about this guy's jawline in the last few days? Or was it another guy with an eerily asymmetrical jaw?

OT:
I don't think it makes him hideous, but it is a bit unsettling to me, actually.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-24 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, it's the same guy.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-25 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
It makes it so I don't want to look at him? Like, it bothers me more than noticeable disfigurement or something, like his face is bad CGI.

My jaw looks like that, except for the whole Cheekbone Cliffs of Doom lurking above. I was a C-section baby so I wouldn't think birthing issues had too much to do with it, in my case at least, and I've never broken my jaw. I'm just crooked. And now trying to figure out how to harness this disturbing/repulsive power that my face apparently has over people.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-24 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeaaah, me too. Though it might of been birthing issues for me since I was larger than expected.

All of us crooked jaw people should get together and rule the world by disturbing people.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-24 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
clearly you are set for halloween, don't even need a costume.

Because he was born that way. (Or maybe he broke it.)

Either way, it's kind of mean of you to dis a guy for something like this.

I'm not a fan of this show but at least I don't dis people for not being Hollywood 'perfection'.

I don't even know what you're talking about. I mean you outlined it and everything and I"m just staring at the image all "yup. that's a face." Same with the person who complained about the other dude's nose or asymmetrical face or whatever it was. You people are way more detail orientated than I, apparently.

I don't get what is so annoying about it. I mean, to each his/her own, I guess. But this kind of sentiment is really strange to me. I mean, that's a good looking kid. I did notice that he often looked sort of... quizzical, I guess? And I wasn't sure what it was that made me think that. Now I realize that the way his jaw is shaped makes him look like he's doing one of those jaw shifts that people sometimes do when they're confused. But I don't really get what about it is unsettling or annoying.

I remember a similar secret once about Stephen Colbert's wonky ears. I noticed it a few times after seeing the secret, but it's just not something that bothers me. I guess I look more at people's body language than the details of their physique.

Awwww, I think Tyler Posey is cute. Uneven jaw and all.

...I have basically thought Tyler Posey was strikingly attractive since the moment I started watching Teen Wolf.

It honestly confused me when I found out most of the fandom doesn't agree. I didn't even notice his jawline was uneven until that other recent fandom secret about it.

Okay, so after having quite a few friends who watch Teen Wolf and learning about all the crap this dude gets from the fandom (I mean, I honestly only figured out he was the main character about two weeks ago because I almost never saw a pic of the guy), I gave in and started watching the show this week. And I. Do. Not. Get. It. He is fucking adorable.

I don't know, I find people way more attractive when they don't look 'perfect'.

That's pretty normal actually. He's pretty damn handsome despite it. I like it, it gives him character.

(Anonymous) 2012-10-25 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
Bonnie from the Vampire Diaries has an extremely asymmetrical face. It's like the center line that runs down a symmetrical face on her got nudged quite a bit.

But she's beautiful.

This kid? Adorable.

It's a little thing.

KITTENS WISH THEY WERE AS CUTE AND LOVABLE AS POSEY, Y'ALL CAN TAKE THIS BACK.

It bothers me in this picture, but the gif of the actor someone posted above doesn;t. I think it's the combination of the lighting and the yellow eyes. It makes things it look like bad CGI.

YES. It's always bothering me as well. He must've had an accident. It's just not right T__T
